Islamorada, Florida Engagement Session

Brock is a local fisherman, and Rebekah is an aspiring actress. Together they form the most beautiful pair of souls. Back in February, Jose photographed their engagement session at the quaint Founder’s Park, in Islamorada, Florida. After Hurricane Irma plowed through the Keys last year, many parks and local landmarks were closed for renovation. Even 5 months after, finding the perfect area for their engagement session was a mission! Luckily, Rebekah and Brock knew of this spot and all of its charm that complimented their love for the ocean and it’s surroundings.

Whenever possible, we always ask couples to choose a location based on what represents their relationship best. It might be the place where they first met, or an off the wall place that highlights their hobbies, or personalities. It keeps the photo shoot unique to them, and makes it fun! It’s exactly why Brock and Rebekah’s session was perfect. It had beach vibes mixed with fishing boats, and cool structures (Stranger Things inspired) 🙂
